JUVENILE LAW
Juvenile court rules and laws are different then the rules that apply in adult court, and you want a lawyer with juvenile court experience to protect your child's rights. Attorney Andrade was a prosecutor in the Lawrence Juvenile Court where she handled a wide range of cases. Often times there are underlying issues revolving around a criminal charge in juvenile court. Is your child being charged for an offense that took place at school? Are they now looking at expulsion? If your child has a disability and is receiving special education services, or you have requested they be tested for special education then expulsion may not be appropriate.
Attorney Andrade understands the ramifications a record can have on a child as he or she grows into adulthood. A criminal record can affect their ability to obtain scholarships and student loans, may have to be disclosed on college applications and may pose a problem if they choose a career with the military. We will fight to prevent this from happening.
